Terms & ConditionsLast updated: 31st August 2026These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of and access to the Halal Investing Academy(“Academy”), operated by MUSLIM INVESTING (“we”, “us”, “our”).By purchasing, registering for, or accessing the Academy, you agree to these Terms.1. About the Academy
The Halal Investing Academy is an online financial education platform designed to help Muslims understand personal finance, investing, Islamic finance principles, investment planning and portfolio building.Your purchase gives you access to the courses, lessons, resources and other materials included in the Academy at the time of purchase, together with any additional content expressly stated as being included with your purchase.2. Educational purposes only
All Academy content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.Nothing within the Academy constitutes personalised financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any particular investment, security, cryptocurrency or financial product.The Academy does not take into account your individual financial circumstances, objectives, tax position, risk tolerance or personal needs.You remain responsible for assessing whether any information or investment is appropriate for your own circumstances and should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional where necessary.Please also refer to our separate Financial Education Disclaimer.3. Investment risk
Investing involves risk.
The value of investments can rise or fall, and you may lose some or all of the money you invest.Past performance, examples, portfolio illustrations, case studies and personal experiences discussed within the Academy do not guarantee future performance or results.You remain solely responsible for your own financial and investment decisions.4. Islamic finance and Shariah considerations
The Academy aims to provide education consistent with generally recognised Islamic finance principles and the methodologies or scholarly standards referenced within the relevant content.Islamic scholars, Shariah boards and screening methodologies may differ in their interpretation or treatment of particular investments, financial products or circumstances.Academy content should not be treated as a personal fatwa or individual religious ruling.Where you require guidance regarding your specific circumstances, you should consult an appropriately qualified Islamic scholar.5. Course access
Access to the Academy is** personal to the purchaser.**Your account and login credentials may not be transferred, shared, resold or provided to another person.You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity occurring through your account.We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account is being shared, misused or used in breach of these Terms.6. Lifetime access
Where your purchase is advertised as including lifetime access, this means access to the Academy for as long as the Halal Investing Academy continues to be operated and made available by MUSLIM INVESTING in substantially its current form.Lifetime access does not guarantee that the Academy, any particular technology platform, individual course or resource will remain available indefinitely.If the Academy is materially discontinued, we will take reasonable steps where practicable to provide notice or another reasonable method of accessing purchased core materials.7. Future courses and resources
Where your purchase includes future courses, guides, tools or resources added to the Academy, you will receive access to qualifying content added to the Academy without an additional Academy access fee.Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not guarantee:
- the number of future courses or resources
- their subject matter
- their format
- a particular publication or release scheduleWe may update, replace, reorganise or retire content where reasonably necessary to keep the Academy accurate, relevant and operational.8. Pricing and payment
The price applicable to your purchase will be the price displayed on the sales page or checkout at the time of purchase.Prices may change from time to time, including following promotional, founding-member or launch periods.Changes to future pricing will not affect the amount already paid for a completed purchase.Where a split-payment option is selected, you agree to pay all instalments forming part of that purchase.A split-payment arrangement is a payment method for a single purchase and is not a cancel-anytime subscription.Stopping your use of the Academy does not automatically cancel any outstanding instalments.Where an instalment cannot be collected, we may temporarily suspend Academy access while the payment remains outstanding.Any applicable taxes, currency conversion charges or third-party payment-provider fees will be dealt with as shown at checkout or by your payment provider.9. Refunds and consumer rights
Because Academy access and digital materials are ordinarily provided shortly after purchase, change-of-mind refunds are not automatically provided unless a separate refund guarantee or refund policy is expressly offered at the time of purchase.Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for further information.10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all Academy courses, videos, recordings, lesson materials, PDFs, worksheets, guides, graphics, templates, presentations, frameworks, written content, branding and other materials are owned by or licensed to MUSLIM INVESTING and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Academy materials for your own personal educational purposes.You may not, without our prior written permission:
- reproduce Academy materials
- upload or publish them elsewhere
- distribute or share them with others
- sell or sublicense them
- record or redistribute Academy videos
- use Academy materials to teach or - train others commercially
- use the materials to create a competing course, product or service
- otherwise commercially exploit Academy content11. Downloads and resources
Materials specifically made available for download may be stored and used for your own personal educational use.Permission to download a resource does not transfer ownership of that material or give you permission to distribute, reproduce, resell or commercially exploit it.12. Prohibited use
You must not:
- share your Academy account with another person
- copy or distribute Academy materials
- record or redistribute Academy videos
- attempt to bypass account, payment or security controls
- use Academy materials to create a competing course or commercial product
- interfere with the operation of the Academy or its technology
- use the Academy for unlawful purposes13. Third-party services and links
The Academy may refer to or link to third-party websites, platforms, brokers, applications, investment services, stock screeners, financial tools or other resources.These third parties are independent from MUSLIM INVESTING.We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, pricing, policies, content, performance or services.Reference to a third-party service does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or recommendation.You should carry out your own assessment before using any third-party product or service.14. Platform availability
The Academy may be hosted or delivered using third-party technology providers, including learning-management, payment, email, analytics and video-hosting platforms.Temporary interruptions may occasionally occur because of maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.We will take reasonable steps to maintain Academy access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times.15. Changes to Academy content
Financial markets, regulations, investment products, platforms and Shariah standards can change.We may therefore update Academy content from time to time.We may also reorganise lessons, update resources or replace outdated materials where reasonably necessary.Any such changes will be made in good faith and with the intention of maintaining or improving the quality and relevance of the Academy.16. No guaranteed outcomes
We do not guarantee that purchasing or completing the Academy will produce any particular:
- investment return
- portfolio performance
- income
- financial result
- level of wealth
- other personal or financial outcomeTestimonials, examples and results referred to within the Academy, on our website, in advertising or on social media describe individual experiences and should not be interpreted as typical or guaranteed outcomes.17. Coaching and personalised support
Unless expressly included in the product you purchased, Academy access does not include:
- personalised financial advice
- individual investment
- recommendations
- personalised portfolio
- recommendations
- one-to-one coaching
- financial consultationsAny separate coaching, consultation or advisory-style educational service may be subject to additional fees and separate terms.18. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Academy if you materially breach these Terms.This may include circumstances involving:
- account sharing
- unauthorised redistribution of Academy materials
- fraudulent activity
- misuse of our intellectual property
- attempts to interfere with Academy systems or securityWhere reasonably possible, we will contact you before permanently terminating access unless the breach is serious or immediate action is required.19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MUSLIM INVESTING is not responsible for losses resulting from investment, financial or other decisions you make based on general educational information contained within the Academy.We are also not responsible for losses arising from reliance on third-party information, websites, platforms, financial services or products referred to within the Academy.Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, rights or remedies where doing so would be unlawful.20. Privacy
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.We may use third-party service providers to operate the Academy, process payments, host content, provide analytics and send communications.Please review our Privacy Policy for further information about how your personal information is collected, used, stored and disclosed.21. Communications
By purchasing or registering for the Academy, you agree to receive communications reasonably necessary to provide the service you purchased.These may include:
- account information
- payment receipts
- access information
- course updates
- important service announcements
- changes affecting your Academy accessMarketing communications will be handled separately in accordance with applicable law and the communication preferences available to you.22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you under applicable law, including where you purchase the Academy from another country or jurisdiction.23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to:

- our business
- applicable law
- our technology or service providers
- the way our services are deliveredAny updated version will be published on our website with a revised effective date.Changes will not retrospectively remove material rights relating to a completed purchase where doing so would be unlawful or unreasonable.24. Other policies
